Applications Engineer (Easley (SC), US)
Industry-E488 Applications Engineer - Full Time - Easley (SC), United States Join our Industry team within Flow Equipment division in United States as Applications Engineer to help us to the next level.
Your main tasks and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining a good relationship with our distributors and reps.
Deals daily with our distributors, reps and accounts managers concerning matters that require discretion, speed and judgment.
This includes reviewing equipment tenders, purchase orders and specifications.
Receives and responds to telephone and or email requests from Distributors/Reps for product support, tendering support and purchase order review with speed and accuracy.
Handles the needs of Accounts Managers and distribution by making price quotations using company authorized quotation tools.
Works with production units to prepare pricing and delivery quotations on items not in price books.
Maintain files of active tenders and orders in the Sulzer CRM.
Follow procedures according to ISO 9001.
Safety obligations:
All employees understand and are able to explain the structure and objectives of the SBP.
All employees follow the safety rules.
All employees have the right and duty to intervene in the event a safety concern becomes evident.
In addition, acceptance of an intervention should be accepted in a positive manner as it could have prevented an accident.

None What you bring to Sulzer:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or three (3) plus years related experience in pumps and hydraulics.
Process knowledge of chemical and/or related industry is a plus.
Good technical skills.
Knowledge of centrifugal pumps (horizontal, vertical and submersible) products features, benefits and use.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) is a plus.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Positive attitude, high level of drive and team player.
