8K a year We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Preschool Teacher assistant to join our team.
This is a temporary position from April 9, 2024 - May 16, 2024 when our school year ends.
The hours are from 8:
30 - 1:
00 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
This position could lead to further employment for the 2024 - 2025 school year for a qualified applicant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for our K1 preschoolers, as well as assisting the lead teacher in developing a creative program and activities that promote learning and development.
The ideal candidate will help with classroom behavior management in an encouraging and loving way.
The ideal assistant should have the ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents and staff.
We follow the Pickens County School District calendar with the exception of our start/end dates.
Responsibilities:
Help lead teacher implement daily plans that meet the needs of all students.
Maintain a safe and secure classroom environment.
Observe and assess student needs.
Communicate with parents as needed.
Develop positive relationships with students, parents and staff.
Implement behavior management strategies.
Assist with preparing class by gathering necessary supplies needed for each day.
Help maintain a clean classroom.
Assists with diaper changing, meal preparations and the supervision of children Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
