Zaxby's Front of House Development PlanHands-on stations trainingAny additional training required by Zax LLCProvide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guestsPromptly greet guests as they enter and thank them as they leaveMaintain awareness of current promotionsExplain menu items, answer questions, and suggest additional itemsEnthusiastically represent the Zaxby's brandAccurately complete orders and guest transactionsEnter guest orders accurately into the point of sale systemAccept payments, operate cash registers, and maintain receiptsHandle cash payments, count and verify tills, and record totals appropriatelyMaintain a clean, safe, welcoming environmentClean and maintain guest areas including dining room, counters, bathrooms, and building exteriorMaintain equipment and inform management of maintenance needsStock paper goods, condiments, serveware, and beveragesKeep work areas clean and organizedPrepare menu items according to company standards and in a safe and sanitary mannerPrepare beverages, sauces, produce, and other itemsEnsure food and beverages are handled according to safety regulations and guidelinesAccurately complete, package, and present guest ordersAssist with kitchen and back of house tasks as assignedOther responsibilitiesComplete all tasks with a sense of urgency, in a timely mannerWork safely and follow all safety guidelines and proceduresOther duties as assignedJob QualificationsThe following requirements must be met in order to qualify for this positionMust be 16 years of age or olderAbility to work 32 to 40 hours per weekCapability RequirementsThe following capabilities are required to perform the essential functions of this positionReasonable accommodations that do not create an undue hardship on the company will be consideredSit, stand, and walk continuouslyOccasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including the use of laddersFrequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overheadContinuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulationCommunicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writingMaintain effective audio-visual perception and judgement to observe and respond to the environmentWork in an indoor or outdoor environment that features hot and cold temperature variations and exposure to food and outdoor allergensOperate and work safely with restaurant equipment including, but not limited to, knives, fryers, and potentially hazardous equipment Recommended Skills Friendliness Maintenance Networking Passionate Retailing Safety Principles Apply to this job.
