Multi-national maker of automotive parts seeks a MANUFACTURING ENGINEER for its operation located just outside of Greenville, SC. The MANUFACTURING ENGINEER will be responsible for creating, organizing and implementing Lean Manufacturing programs and systems, with a focus on assuring that quality requirements and process cost objectives are met.
Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Engineer
Creation of Labor Standards and equipment capacity plans
Oversight of Value Stream Mapping / Kaizen Training
Responsible for Overall Equipment Effectiveness / Total Productive Maintenance
Requirements for the Manufacturing Engineer
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or industrial Engineering
Two plus years experience as a Manufacturing Engineer with proven lean experience in an automotive parts making plant
Some programming experience highly desired
